A. First, please call YCUA seven days a week, 24 hours a day at 734-544-7316 or 734-484-4600. YCUA will determine where the issue or restriction is. This is accomplished by opening sewer manholes and inspecting the sewer main to assure the main is flowing properly. If the sewer main is observed to be restricted, YCUA will immediately remedy the issue. If the sewer main is determined to be flowing properly, the homeowner or business owner will be advised to call a plumber and have their sewer lead cleaned out from the home or business to the sewer main.
